Reason you must watch Gurgaon and not a Rom-Com

Gurgaon suspense thriller which is a simple story telling presented in the most visually satisfying manner with a background score which keeps the mood of the film at every moment.
The plot revolves around Kehri Singh and his family. Kehri Singh (Pankaj Tripathi) is a real estate tycoon who was a farmer when Gurgaon was just a village. Preet Singh (Ragini Khanna) is the daughter of Kehri Singh who has just returned from the USA after completing her architecture study.
Nikki (Akshay Oberoi) is Preet's brother who lost the bet to an ongoing cricket match for which he has to payback.
This is a technically a case study for aspiring filmmakers on how well edited and well-shot movie can do justice to an average written script. Unusual casting by Mukesh Chabra with no big star helps to avoid any kind of distraction from characters of the film.
In the second half of the movie Bhupi Hooda ( Aamir Bashir ) impress with his presence with his body language and few words in Haryanvi accent. Without giving further spoilers about the movie it can be said that it keeps you gripped throughout and surprises you till the very ending scene.
Special mention to Director of photography Vivek Shah, the haunting background creates the required atmosphere for the movie thanks to sound designer Mohandas P V. Shan Mohammed has made justice to the director Shankar's vision with the editing part.
Gurgaon releases 4th August 2017, Recommended for all those whose want to see more than singing/dancing and choose to see Indian city's suspense drama over a Europe trip with expensive budget.
