Baby Driver Review : Don't judge a movie by its title

Baby Driver the title to most of us will sound cliche and we may conclude it a dull Hollywood flick with no brainer car chase sequence but that's not the case here. The best thing about Baby Driver is it doesn't try hard to fit into a single type of genre and make experience boring. It's more of a musical comedy than an action comedy. It will be no surprise if this becomes a classic for this generation.

As the title suggests movie is about Baby who is a talented young driver who is a music lover and this love keeps him going even at the time of doing bank robbery or when being chased by cops of Atlanta. Ansel Elgort with his shades and number of iPods adds swag to its character keeping us glued to his playlist according to the mood and situation. Baby don't deliver any heroic dialogues in husky voice but impress with the looks and the moves he got to show. The action in the movie is not over done therefore looks real without any slow motion tricks. The car chase and action sequence are not being stretched.

Baby's romance starts with a girl named Deborah (Lily James) starts off well but doesn't develop a chemistry to look forward, Wright has tried to give enough screen time to this romance though. Kevin Spacey as a criminal mastermind is naturally good and makes his presence felt. Jammie Fox and Jon Hamm looking charismatic like any crime thriller baddies would need to look.
Editing of the film is done very well all credit to Jonathan Amos and Paul Machliss.

Highly recommended if you want to watch a heist film which is not over the top and which leaves you with a soundtrack which you will customize on your next ride.
