Anurag Kashyap's next project 'Mukkabaaz'

It's being since Raman Raghav 2.0 that we haven't seen a movie directed by Anurag Kashyap. But the direct is being silently working on his upcoming movie 'Mukkabaaz'. He was shooting for it in parts of Uttar Pradesh mainly in Benaras and Bareilly. Actor uploaded images from the sets of the film giving his fans a glimpse of schedule.

Movie title suggests the movie is based on a boxer from Bareilly. The film stars Vineet Singh who has worked with Kashyap on 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'Ugly'. The film also stars Jimmy Sheirgill.

It's been no secret that Martin Scorsese is the biggest inspiration for Anurag Kashyap and is highly influenced by his work. In Bombay Velvet, Ranbir Kapoor was portrayed as a street fighter. Scorsese's Raging Bull is a cult and we wouldn't be surprised if 'Mukkabaaz' become India's best ever boxing movie.

      'Mukkabaaz' is releasing on 12th January 2018.
